In 1958 Piper Aircrafts expanded their portfolio by adding a new, all-metal, light weight aircraft to their portfolio – the Comanche 250 featuring a single engine general aviation aircraft with a four-seat configuration, a low wing design with a V-shape and a retractable tricycle landing gear.

 

The engine is a powerful Lycoming O-540-A engine with a 6 cylinder horizontally opposed setup, direct drive and air cooled and providing 250 rated horse powers that drives a 77 inch, 3-bladed, constant speed McCauley propeller on a standard setup – There are also other possibilities for different brands and variations of propellers like the MT Propellers.

The Yak-55 is a single seated, single engine, high powered all-metal cantilever aerobatic monoplane built by Yakolev since the early 1980’s. The aircraft features a tailwheel configuration with fixed titanium sprung main landing gear. An abundance of power is provided with the 360 horsepower Vedeneyev M14P 9-cylinder radial engine driving a two-bladed V-530TA-D35 propeller. Additionally the aircraft features a teardrop sliding canopy and wings mounted midway up the fuselage and which are built with a thick and symmetrical section to aid inverted flights.

The Blue Canyon-Nyack airport package from ORBX Systems is a high quality scenery pack developed by Greg Jones and Russell Linn together with their team. The pack includes 3 airports together with a bonus hospital helipad located in the vicinity of 2O1 Gansner Field and the airfields together covers an area of about 1,500 sq miles. The custom mesh is a 10m mesh covering about 8,000sq miles around and in between the airfields. The scenery requires the ORBX FTX region NA Northern California to perform the best.
